3M Permanent Adhesive Purple Great applications, long lasting stick uses (heavy uses 1-1/2 months & light uses up to four months). Easy hold on stick container, lid always goes on easy. No dry time, I had one that was 8 months old and still remained sticky as the first day use. I rate 5 stars on this product----- PERFECT USES........... PURPLE COLOR GLUE ***** 5 stars I used other scotch products only to get clear glue, you cant see clear glue. Purple glue color allows you to see where you placed the glue, this makes perfect sense. I didn't have a spare tube of the purple, someone has removed my glue (purple from my house while visiting). I did take a photo of the clear glue by Scotch to let you see how clear glue could become a problem if you cant see where you glued to stick materials together. Very messy and Scotch glue is hard to rid off fingers if your going to use glue stick for awhile. Not to mention messy progets from finger transfer. DRY TIME ***** 5 stars You need to hurry on material placement. This glue bonds quicker than most glue sticks. Photo paper is the worst, it seems that photo paper has a chemical that reacts with glue and sometimes glue dry time is almost instant. Any incorrect placed photos means peel-up and reprinting photo and gluing once more. You cant simply remove a photo without some photo paper fatigue (ruined photo surface- kinks, folds or bends). This is a bonus in my books, I like instant gluing if you know what your doing! MANY SURFACES ***** 5 stars CARDBOARD= corragated or flat is the same quality on glue. PHOTOS= high gloss to just plain flyer photo paper. FABRIC= cloth repair on curtains as a quick repair :). PLASTIC= great glue for plastic so far. 3M Scotch Purple washes of every time= washable. There is no toxic ingredients in glue, it's all nontoxic. So children with supervision or anyone handicape or elders can use glue without getting harmed. This glue is also acid-free in ingredient form, there are so many glues that have acid that some consumer are no aware of. These glue sticks offer permanent glue application. Plus color purple glue dries clear, thats the best part, goes on purple dries clear. So any project is great using this glue stick by 3M Scotch. You simply cant go wrong using 3M Scotch glue sticks, each stick has repositional to use and roll back to store. Use as much as you want then recap for later uses. Sometimes during heavy uses, cap might get simi glues to top of stick. Best suggestion, clean cap and rim then recap so no glue can aid in sticking next time you remove cap. Product suggests two strokes for best gluing placement on any material surface. I have used just one stroke and glue took place immediate. Now cardboard surfaces need more dry time then any other surface. Clean-up is always great and I enjoy using 3M Scotch glue sticks either purple or clear. No skin irritations yet. No sensitivity on 3M Scotch glue sticks. Clothing is here and there on washing out abilities, remember this glue can glue fabric materials together. I never experienced washing out glue on accidents from 3M Scotch glue sticks. Crafts to home office uses, this product was rated 5 stars ***** |
